Dystopia

I have read The Giver, the Red Rising series, the Pure trilogy, The Final Six, The Hunger Games trilogy, The Darkest Minds, The Girl Who Owned A City, and more—all dystopian novels. Yes, I’m only nine years old. I’m a big reader :) Most dystopian novels are about one person of the lowest class rising up against an unfair government. Other ones are just about one person surviving. There are a lot of different kinds of dystopian novels, but they’re all pretty cool.

One thing I like about dystopian novels is that they’re so different from our world, like in Pure, where it’s in the future nine years after the Detonations, which is when this creep blew the world up. I mean, who blows up the world? Also, most of the people in dem novels are kids, like in The Girl Who Owned A City, where this plague went around that only affects kids under 12.

One thing that’s scary about dystopian novels is that they’re in the future, and usually they start out bleak. I don’t want that. So government? Don’t form the Society anytime soon. Specifically, don’t keep doing what you’re doing right now.
